Central Armed Police Forces Exam
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will be conducting CAPF (Central Armed Police Forces) examination for recruitment of Assistant Commandants. Those aspirants who have applied for recruitment exam and want to know the CAPF syllabus so here on this page you may get the complete details regarding the pattern, subject, eligibility etc and prepare accordingly.
The exam is being held to recruit in the forces comprising of Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). Last year a total of 189 candidates have been recommended for appointment.
To get recruited through CAPF, candidates need to clear the three most essential sections which are as follows:
Paper I: General Ability and Intelligence
General Science, General Mental Ability, Indian Polity and Economy, Current Events of National and International Importance, Indian and World Geography, History of India
Paper II: General Studies, Essay, and Comprehension
Part A: Essay questions from the topic are modern Indian history especially of the polity and economy, geography, knowledge of security and human rights issues.
Part B: Comprehension, precise writing, other communications/language skills to be attempted in English only (Marks 120) from the topics are pr cis writing, developing counter arguments, Comprehension passages, simple grammar and other aspects of language.
