UPSC CAPF Application Form 2020: Union Public of Service Commission has concluded UPSC CAPF application process. The last date to fill the CAPF application form was September 7, 2020. The commission has started accepting the application form soon after the release of official notification of UPSC CAPF 2020. The exam is conducted for the recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) with the release of official notification of the exam on August 18, 2020.

Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria laid down by the authority were only allowed to fill the UPSC CAPF application form in online mode.

Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can follow the steps given below to fill the UPSC CAPF application form. The application will be completed in two parts i.e. Part 1 and Part 2. 

Part 1 - One Time Registration

  • Visit the official website i.e. upsc.gov.in
  • Click on “Apply Online”. 
  • Click on the activated link of registration
  • Click on “New Registration”
  • Enter the required credentials and provide the valid email id and mobile number
  • Click on “Submit” and receive the OTP sent on email id and mobile number. 

Part 2 - Application Form Filling

  • Login using the registration ID and password. 
  • Fill up the UPSC CAPF application form with personal, academic and professional details. 
  • Upload the scanned image of photograph and signature
  • Pay the application fee either by depositing the money in any branch of State Bank of India by cash or by using the net banking facility of State Bank of India or by using any Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card. 
  • Click on “Submit” and download the confirmation page.

UPSC CAPF Application Fee

Candidates who are aspiring to take the UPSC CAPF exam can fill the application form by paying an application fee of INR 200. It is to be noted that the Female/SC/ST candidates are exempted to pay the application fee. 

  • Candidates can submit the application fee online as well as offline mode. The application fee can remit the money in any Branch of State Bank of India or by using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card or by using Internet Banking of SBI. 
  • Applicants who opt for "Pay by Cash" mode should print the system generated Pay-in-slip during part II registration and deposit the fee at the counter of SBI Branch on the next working day only.

Withdrawal of UPSC CAPF Application Form 2020 

The Union Public Service Commission will offer the facility to withdraw the submitted application soon after the application process is over. Candidates must note that those who do not want to appear in the exam can withdraw their application during this period. The official dates are yet to be released. Below given are the important instructions that should be followed for UPSC CAPF application withdrawal. 

  • Candidates must provide the details of the registered application with registration-id which was completed and submitted finally. No incomplete applications will be considered for withdrawal. 
  • Candidates must ensure that they have access to the registered mobile number and email-id which were provided by them during the submission of application. 
  • Separate OTPs will be sent on the registered mobile number and email-id. 
  • Requests for withdrawal will be accepted only after it is confirmed by validating the OTP details sent on the candidate’s mobile and email-id. 
  •  If a candidate has submitted more than one CAPF application form then the higher registration-id of Application (latest) will be considered for withdrawal. 
  • After the final acceptance of the request for the online withdrawal of the CAPF application, the candidate must print the authenticated receipt. 
  • Once the application has been withdrawn by the candidate, it cannot be revived in the future.  
  • In case of a successful withdrawal of the UPSC CAPF application, the fees will not be refunded.
