UPPSC 2020 - Mains Exam Date, Admit Card, Result, Cut off, and Selection Process
UPPSC 2020 - UP Public Service Commission has released the exam date of UP PCS Mains exam on December 23, 2020. The exam will be conducted from January 21 - 25, 2021 in two shifts. Candidates who were qualified in the UPPSC Prelims exam will be eligible to appear in the Mains exam. The commission will release UPPSC Admit Card for mains exam soon at its official website.
UPPSC Prelims 2020 exam was successfully conducted on October 11, 2020 in offline mode. The commission has released UPPSC prelims result in online mode on November 22, 2020 in online mode. Among the candidates appeared in the UPPSC Prelims exam, 5393 candidates are eligible to appear in the UPPSC Mains exam.
UPPSC conducts Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services Provincial Civil Services (P.C.S) and Assistant Conservator of Forest (A.C.F.)/Range Forest Officer (R.F.O.) services examination for recruitment to various posts like Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Block Development Officer, Statistical Officer, etc in Uttar Pradesh. A total of 200 vacancies will be filled through UPPSC 2020 exam.

UPPSC 2020 Application Form
All the eligible candidates can fill the UPPSC PCS Application Form in online mode till June 4, 2020. To fill the online UPPSC form candidates will have to complete the registration, pay the application fee, fill in the basic details and upload the required documents. After the final submission of the UPPSC PCS application form, candidates must take a printout of the application form. Also, before filling the application form, they must check the eligibility criteria in order to avoid rejection at any later stage. Candidates can check the steps below:

UPPSC 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates will have to meet the following eligibility criteria of UPPSC 2020 in order to fill the application form. The eligibility criteria are based on age and educational qualifications. Candidates can check below the prescribed UPPSC eligibility criteria by the exam conducting body.
Educational Qualification
For Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services (General Recruitment/Special Recruitment): Candidates must have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution by the Government of India. Apart from that, if any candidate is applying for any specific post then they must hold a degree as specified by the exam conducting body.
Age
Candidates who are between 21 to 40 years of age can apply for UPPSC 2020. Also, candidates belonging to the reserved category will be given upper age relaxation as per the norms of the Government.
UPPSC 2020 Admit Card
The exam conducting body will release the admit card of Uttar Pradesh PSC for all the three stages separately in online mode. Candidates can download UPPSC 2020 Admit Card by using the required login credentials in the login window. Those who have successfully filled and submitted the application form will only be able to download the admit card of UPPSC 2020.
The admit card will likely contain information about the roll number, name, time of the exam, address of the centre, exam day instructions, etc. Also, on the day of the examination, candidates have to carry anyone photo identity card.

UPPSC 2020 Exam Pattern - Prelims
The prelims exam of UPPSC will have objective-type questions. There will be two papers, each will be conducted for two hours and have 200 multiple-type questions. Candidates are required to appear in both the papers or else they will not be shortlisted for Mains exam. However, paper II will be qualifying in nature and the candidates will have to secure at 33 per cent marks. The final merit list for Mains will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Paper I.
UPPSC 2020 Exam Pattern - Mains
Candidates qualifying in the prelims exam will only be selected for the mains exam. The mains exam will have two sections - compulsory and optional. Candidates will have to write both the sections. Optional Subject

UPPSC 2020 - Personality Test
Candidates who will qualify the mains exam will have to appear for the Personality Test. The test will be based on questions from general awareness, intelligence, character, expression power/personality. This stage will be conducted for 100 marks.

UPPSC 2020 Answer Key
The answer key of UPPSC contains all the correct answers to the questions asked in the exam. The UPPSC 2020 answer key will be released for all the sets in the form of pdf. With the help of answer key, candidates can calculate their probable score. In case of any discrepancy UPPSC Prelims answer key, candidates can raise objections. To raise objections, candidates are required to submit the objections in the format prescribed by the examination authority along with the documentary proof to the authorities.
The objections raised will be reviewed and if the objections are found to be correct, the examination authority will release the final answer key.
UPPSC 2020 Result
Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has announced the result of the prelims exam 2020 at its official website. The candidates who have appeared in the examination on October 11, 2020, can check their result which is available in PDF format.
On the basis of the result of the prelims exam, thirteen times the number of vacancies, candidates will be selected for the mains exam which will be conducted on January 22, 2021. However, the final result will be declared on the basis of marks obtained in the mains exam and personality test.
UPPSC 2020 Cut off
The cutoff of UPPSC is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates are required to secure in order to qualify in the exam.
