UPPSC 2019 - UP PCS Exam

UPPSC 2019 - UPPSC state upper subordinate prelims exam was conducted on December 15, 2019 in offline mode. The exam authority has now released the result of UPPSC Combined State upper subordinate services prelims exam in online mode. UPPSC Prelims Result is released in PDF format. The total number of vacancies released for the year 2019 is 353 for various posts.

The exam conducting body conducts Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services Provincial Civil Services (P.C.S) and Assistant Conservator of Forest (A.C.F.)/Range Forest Officer (R.F.O.) services examination for recruitment to various posts like Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Block Development Officer, Statistical Officer etc in Uttar Pradesh.

UPPSC Application Form 2019

All the eligible candidates can fill the application form of UPPSC 2019 in online mode till November 11, 2019. To fill the online UPPSC form candidates will have to complete the registration, pay the application fee, fill in the basic details and upload the required documents. After the final submission of Uttar Pradesh PSC 2019, candidates must take a printout of the application form. Also, before filling the application form, they must check the eligibility criteria in order to avoid rejection at any later stage. Candidates can check the steps below:

UPPSC Eligibility Criteria 2019 

Candidates will have to meet the following eligibility criteria of UPPSC in order to fill the application form. The UP PSC 2019 eligibility criteria is based on age and educational qualification. Candidates can check below the prescribed UPPSC eligibility criteria by the exam conducting body. 

Educational Qualification

For Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services (General Recruitment/Special Recruitment): Candidates must have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution by the Government of India. Apart from that, if any candidate is applying for any specific post then they must hold a degree as specified by the exam conducting body. 


Candidates who are between 21 to 40 years of age can apply for UPPSC 2019. Also, candidates belonging to the reserved category will be given upper age relaxation as per the norms of the Government.  

UPPSC Admit Card 2019 

The exam conducting body will release the admit card of Uttar Pradesh PSC for all the three stages separately in online mode. Candidates can download UPPSC 2019 admit card by using the required login credentials in the login window. Those who have successfully filled and submitted the application form will only be able to download the admit card of UP PSC 2019.

The admit card will likely contain information about the roll number, name, time of the exam, address of the center, exam day instructions, etc. Also, on the day of the examination, candidates have to carry anyone photo identity card.

UPPSC Exam Pattern 2019 

UPPSC prescribes the exam pattern of UP PSC 2019 for Prelims and Mains. With the help of the UPPSC exam pattern, candidates will be able to know the type of questions, the number of questions, total time allotted, marking scheme, mode of exam, etc. Candidates can check below the exam pattern for prelims and mains.

UPPSC Exam Pattern 2019 - Prelims 

The prelims exam of UPPSC will have objective-type questions. There will be two papers, each will be conducted for two hours and have 200 multiple-type questions. Candidates are required to appear in both the papers or else they will not be shortlisted for Mains exam. However, paper II will be qualifying in nature and the candidates will have to secure at 33 percent marks. The final merit list for Mains will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Paper I. 

UPPSC Exam Pattern 2019 - Mains

Candidates qualifying in the prelims exam will only be selected for the mains exam. The mains exam will have two sections - compulsory and optional. Candidates will have to write both the sections. For both the papers, candidates will be given three hours to finish the exam. Candidates  can check below the pattern for the compulsory paper:

UPPSC 2019 - Personality Test

Candidates who will qualify the mains exam will have to appear for the Personality Test. The test will be based on questions from general awareness, intelligence, character, expression power/personality. This stage will be conducted for 100 marks.

UPPSC Answer Key 2019

The answer key of UPPSC contains all the correct answers to the questions asked in the exam. The UP PSC 2019 answer key will be released for all the sets in the form of pdf. With the help of answer key, candidates can calculate their probable score. In case of any discrepancy UPPSC Prelims answer key, candidates can raise objections. To raise objections, candidates are required to submit the objections in the format prescribed by the examination authority along with the documentary proof to the authorities. 

The objections raised will be reviewed and if the objections are found to be correct, the examination authority will release the final answer key. 

UPPSC Result 2019 

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has announced the result of the prelims exam 2019 at its official website. The candidates who have appeared in the examination on December 15, 2019 can check their result which is available in PDF format. 

On the basis of the result of the prelims exam, thirteen times the number of vacancies, candidates will be selected for the mains exam which will be conducted on April 29, 2020. However, the final result will be declared on the basis of marks obtained in the mains exam and personality test. 

UPPSC Cut off 2019 

The cutoff of UPPSC is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates are required to secure in order to qualify in the exam. The exam conducting authority has released the qualifying cutoff for all the categories along with the notification. Some of the factors that are considered while deciding the UPPSC cut off are - difficulty level of the exam, vacancies, and number of candidates appeared for the exam.
