UKPSC Syllabus for State Services Exam:

Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) has latest published the Recruitment notification 2017 to fill up the empty vacancies of the various Officer Posts i.e., Review Officer (RO) and Assistant Review Officer (ARO). Uttarakhand Public service commission (UKPSC) 2017 has released and notified new syllabus & exam pattern for upcoming Pre and Main exam of Uttarakhand PCS 2017. Applicants who applying for the Uttarakhand Civil services/upper Subordinate services (pcs) first one is Pre-examination (objective) and primary exam (Written) will have new UKPSC syllabus & exam pattern.

UKPSC Syllabus is very important for doing preparation well for the exam. Lack of knowledge for the syllabus is the main cause to face failure in Examination. Applicants may start their preparations with the help of UKPSC Exam Syllabus 2017 and score good marks.

For UKPSC Syllabus, one needs to know about the new UKPSC Exam Pattern. To get recruited through Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, candidates need to clear the three most essential sections which are as follows:

  • UKPSC Preliminary Exam
  • UkPSC Main Exam
  • Interview
UKPSC Syllabus, therefore, can be broadly divided into two parts; UKPSC Prelims Syllabus for UKPSC Prelims Exam and UKPSC Mains Syllabus for UKPSC Mains Exam.

Phase I: UKPSC Syllabus for Preliminary Exam

The preliminary examination will consist of two papers of objective type (multiple choice questions) and carry a maximum of 150 marks of each paper. This Examination is meant to serve as a screening test only and the marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination by the Candidates, who are declared qualified for admission to the Main Examination, will not be counted for determining their final order of merit.

Phase II: UKPSC Syllabus for Mains Exam

The Main examination will consist of seven papers of the conventional essay and each paper carries a maximum of 200 marks except Language which is of 300 marks. All the Candidates should have qualified every question paper for UKPCS, it is compulsory for the all further process and in language paper minimum 35% qualified marks is compulsory. The marks obtained in the Mains Examination by the Candidates, who are declared qualified for admission to the Interview Test.
