UKPSC PCS 2020 Application Process

UKPSC PCS 2020 application form will be available soon after the release of official notification of the exam. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria will be able to fill the application form in online mode. It must be noted that there will be separate forms to be filled for pre and mains examination. Candidates can fill the UKPSC PCS application form by following the instructions given below: 

  • Visit the official website -
  • Go to the “Exams/Recruitment” section on the homepage
  • Search for the activate link for UKPSC PCS 2020 application form and click on the same
  • Register yourself using the credentials required
  • Login again through the provided registration number and password
  • Fill the details asked in the application form 
  • Upload the documents asked in the application form
  • Submit the requisite application fee.
  • Click on “Submit”
  • The confirmation page will be displayed on the screen, download and save for future correspondence.  

UKPSC PCS 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must note that they must verify whether they fulfill the UKPSC PCS eligibility criteria prior to the filling of the application form. Candidature of the candidates who do not fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria will be canceled anytime during the selection process. Below given is the detailed eligibility criteria for the UKPSC PCS 2020 exam. 


  • Candidates must be an Indian citizen. 
  • Tibetan refugees who have come to India before 1962 with an intention to permanently settle here. 
  • Migrants from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, and the United Republic of Tanzania who has come to permanently settle in India. 


  • Minimum age limit is 21 as on July 1, 2020.
  • Maximum age limit is 42 as on July 1, 2020.   

Education Qualifications

  • Candidates must have completed graduation from a recognized university. 
  • Candidates must have pursued PG Diploma in Town and architect planning or associate membership of the institute of planner / American institute of town/institute of town planner or institute of town planner India for the post of Sahayak Nagar Niyojak.
  • To be eligible to apply for the post of District information officer / Feature writer, candidates must have completed graduation with Hindi subject. 

UKPSC PCS 2020 Admit Card

Candidates who will successfully fill the application form will be able to download the UKPSC PCS Admit Card. The hall ticket will be issued by the exam authorities 10 days prior to the exam. UKPSC aspirants must note that the admit card for the pre and mains exam will be released separately. 

Candidates have to download the UKPSC admit card by the official website only. No hall tickets will be sent to the candidates via mail or post. 

UKPSC PCS 2020 Exam Pattern

UKPSC PCS exam is conducted in three different stages i.e. Prelims, Mains and Personality Test. It must be noted that the preliminary exam is the qualifying round to become eligible for UKPSC mains examination. UKPSC PCS 2020 Answer Key

UKPSC will release the UKPSC PCS answer key soon after the exam. Candidates must note that the answer key will be released for different sets of prelims and mains exam. UKPSC aspirants will be able to raise objections (if any) after the objection link is provided by the exam authority. Once the objections will be cross-checked, the exam authority will release the final answer key of the exam along with UKPSC Result.

UKPSC Result is released by the Uttarkhand PSC at its official website in online mode. The result is released for UKPSC prelims and mains exam separately. Ques- When will the UKPSC PCS 2020 notification release?
Ans- UKPSC PCS 2020 notification will be released by the exam authority tentatively in the last week of April 2020.

Ques- What is the total number of attempts for the UKPSC PCS 2020 exam? 
Ans- There is no specific number of attempts to appear in the exam. Candidates fulfilling the maximum age limit of 40 can appear in the exam. 

Ques- I am in the final year of my graduation, am I eligible to appear in the UKPSC PCS exam?
Ans- Candidates have to provide educational certificates while filling the UKPSC application form failing to which will result in cancellation of candidature. Therefore, candidates must have completed their graduation and acquired the certificates to take the exam.

Ques- Can we submit the application fee in offline mode?
Ans- UKPSC PCS application fee can be paid in both online and offline mode. Offline mode of payment can be done through challan at any of the SBI branches. Challan number has to be submitted while filling the application form.
