Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

All the aspirants applying for TN CCS 2019 should possess a Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Final Year students of Bachelor degree may also apply, but they have to produce proof of qualifying the degree for getting admission in the Mains examination.

Age Concession

For Differently Abled Persons

Differently Abled Persons are eligible for age concession up to 10 years over and above the maximum age limit prescribed above.

For Ex-Servicemen

(a) The maximum age limit is 53 years for the applicants who belong to SCs, SCs(A), STs MBCs/DCs, BCs and BCMs.

(b) The maximum age limit is 48 years for “Others” (i.e.) applicants not belonging to any of the above said categories.

(c) The above-mentioned age concession will not apply to the Ex-Servicemen applicants those have already been recruited to any class or service or category.

Physical Qualification

Applicants applying for the posts of Deputy Superintendent of Police (Cat.I) and District Officer (Fire and Rescue Services) must possess the following Physical Qualifications:

Candidates who want to apply for the TN CCS 2019 can visit the official website of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission. Candidates must read the eligibility criteria and should ensure that they fulfil the required criteria for the examination before filling the online application form.

For One-Time Registration (Revised with effect from 01.03.2017 vide

(i) Applicants who have already registered in One-Time Registration

system within the validity period of 5 years are exempted.

(ii) Those who have registered in One-Time Registration system and

paid the Registration fee i.e., Rs.150/-, it is enough to pay the

examination fee alone.

Note

The Preliminary Examination fee should be paid at the time of submitting

the online application for this recruitment if they is not eligible for the fee

Main Written Examination Fee

Note

The Main Written Examination fee should be paid later only by those

applicants who are admitted to the Main Written Examination based on

the result of Preliminary Examination and on receipt of intimation from

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, if they are not eligible for fee

concession.

Admit Card

Candidates who have filled the application form without any discrepancies and paid their application fee can download the admit card for the preliminary examination by visiting the official website of TNPSC. The admit card will be available as notified on the TNPSC website.
