Brief about SSCCGL
SSCCGL or the staff selection commission combine graduate level exam is conducted to recruit central government officers. Staff Selection Commission holds the exam- Combined Graduate Level on a national basis. Qualifiers of the exam are recruited for Gazetted and non-Gazetted ranks and are considered eligible for various positions in the Central Government departments, ministries and its offices across India.

Key points for candidates forSSCCGL result
The final selection is based on the SSCCGL marks scored by the candidates in Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 exams. Only aggregate SSCCGLscore is considered. Candidates need to clear the three level of the exam individually.
Basis the SSCCGL marks, the Selection Commission will prepare an All India merit candidate list to rank the qualifiers for each category and post.
The merit list is drawn considering the aggregate SSCCGL marks scored by candidates and their stated preference of post both.
Those who qualify will be further recommended by the SSC for a suitable post in each category. The recommendation will be done to appoint the suitable candidate.
The final appointment letter copy will be released to the candidates based on their final rank and post preference.
In case of ties in rank order prepared by the commission, the total SSCCGL marks will be considered and thereafter, the ranking will be done by consideringthedate of birth, people who are older will be ranked first or higher. The alphabetical order will also be followed. The name initials will decide whose name will appear first in the merit list.
Procedure to check the CSG result
The various stages SSCCGLresultis made available in a PDF format. Candidates need to download the PDF file by clicking on the link on the SSC official website.
Step 1: Use the link on the SSC CGL web page.
Step 2: Post the click, the PDF file containing the SSCCGL result details will be shown on the screen.
Step 3: The next step is to press the Ctrl + F key and feed in the candidate roll number in the space shared on the screen.
Step 4: The candidate should download the PDF copy of SSC CGL result to save it to the desktop.
Procedure to calculate SSCCGL marks
Given below is the SSCCGL marks calculation formula for tier 1 exam.
|Total marks allocation=200|
|Total marks for every correct answer=2|
|Total marks deducted for every wrong answer= -0.50|
|Final SSCCGL marks for tier 1 can be done by multiplying correct answers by 2 and by multiplying each wrong answer by 0.50 and then adding total correct answer score and subtracting the total minus score from the overall (correct) score.|

|SSCCGL marks for tier 1 exam is added to the total marks of tier 2 exam.|

Given below is the SSCCGL marks calculation formula for tier 3 exam.
|The tier 3 exam is a descriptive test and the total SSCCGL marks for this exam is 100. Candidates need to score at least 33% of the total marks to qualify for the next stage exam-tier 4.|
Given below is the SSCCGL marks calculation formula for tier 4 exam.
|The Tier 4 CGL exam is conducted to recruit candidates for Tax Assistants post, specifically for the Central Excise & Income Tax Departments. The other post titles include Assistant Section Officer of CSS Assistant Section Officer (MEA) and Assistant in Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) and Assistant (GSI). Candidates appearing for these posts need to qualify the tier 4 exam.|

Details about SSCCGL Tier 3 results
- The SSCCGL result for tier 3 exam is expected to be announced in February of the following year.
- The SSCCGL tier 3 exam is expected to be held in January of the following year.
- Total marks allocated for SSCCGLtier 3 exam is 100.
- Those qualifying for the tier 3 exam will need to produce:
- Original proof of ID
- Date of Birth certificate (including Matriculation/High School)/High Secondary School)
- Graduation Certificate
- Caste Certificate (as applicable for SC/ST/OBC category candidates)
- OH/HH/VH Certificate for candidates appearing under physically handicapped category
- Post preference option form-completed
- Two passport size photographs
