RRB Junior Engineer Books

For engineering students, there are quite a few options if they are looking for a good job and wish to work in a respectable company. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) releases forms through which it invites applications from engineers for various available posts.

Engineering graduates can apply for the available spots by filling in the relevant forms as released on the official website. RRB-JE Exam Pattern 2019

RRB-JE has already released the notification about the release of the recruitment forms and the last date of submission of such forms. Along with this, the date of examinations has also been released. Here is a table to spell it out clearly:

There are different steps through which RRB recruits the new recruits. The first step in the entire process is appearing for the exam and clearing the exam with a valid score. The three-step process of selection includes:

  • Computer-based exam (Stage I),
  • Computer-based exam (Stage II), and
  • Document verification as well as a medical exam.

The exam is said to be held in March 2019, the notification of which is yet to be released. Furthermore, the exam is said to be held in various languages, such as English, Urdu, Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Tamil, Odiya, Telugu, Punjabi, Assamese, Marathi, Konkani, Manipuri, and Malayalam.

RRB CBT 1 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern for the computer-based exam (Stage I - CBT 1) is given below:

  • 30 questions on General Science,
  • 25 questions on General Intelligence and Reasoning,
  • 30 questions on Mathematics, and
  • 15 questions on General Awareness.

Each question carries one mark, and the exam is to be held for 90 minutes.

RRB CBT 2 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern for the computer-based exam (Stage II - CBT 2) is given below:

  • 15 questions on Physics & Chemistry
  • 10 questions on Basics of Environment & Pollution Control
  • 15 questions on General Awareness
  • 10 questions on Basics of Computers & Applications
  • 100 questions on Technical Abilities.

Each correct answer will carry one mark in the exam and for each wrong answer, 1/3rd marks will be deducted.
