RRB Junior Engineer Admit card
RRB or Railway Recruitment Board invites applications for various engineering graduates for different job posts in the Indian Railways. The online applications for RRB came out in early January 2019, and the last date for submitting the form is 31st January 2019. There are vacancies for RRB Junior Engineer JE or DMC or CMA Posts. However, those who fill out the form duly and with correct details will be able to find their RRB JE admit card for the exam, which would be held at some point in March-May 2019, the details haven’t been released yet.
At present, there are about 14,033 vacancies for the posts of Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), Junior Engineer (IT), and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA). Interested candidates can fill out the form on the official channel in order to be eligible for the exam.
RRB JE Admit Card Download
The admit card will be available only for those candidates who fill out the railway JE form with correct details. It must be kept in mind that RRB has laid out strict eligibility criteria for the candidates. Applicants must fall under the given criteria.
Although the date of the exam is yet to be released, the RRB JE admit card will be available 10 to 15 days before the exam is to be held. The candidates will be able to see and download the admit card from the official channel once the admit cards are released by RRB.
Also known as the RRB hall ticket, the admit card will be available on the website: www.indianrailways.gov.in. Here are some of the steps that will help you to RRB JE admit card download from the official channel only. You may find links that may redirect you to the official website; there you will find the admit card for 2019 RRB exams.
- The admit card will be released on the RRB region’s website only. All you need to do is visit the official website for the said region first.
- You will find a link “RRB JE Call Letter’’ on the official channel. This link will take you to a page through which you will be able to download 2019 admit card. Click on the link to find your admit card.
- A page with various blanks will load. Here, you will have to add some details, as mentioned on the website.
- First, you will have to log-in with your login ID and your password. You will also have to add your registration number as well.
- Once you enter all the details and hit “Submit,” you will be able to see your admit card.
- You will find an option to print it out as well.
Once you find the admit card online, you should save a softcopy and have a print out as well. Furthermore, it is always better to have two or three prints of the same admit card, just in case you lose one. This will help you keep your mind at ease.
What details does the RRB 2019 Admit card show?
Once you have downloaded the admit card from 2019, you will find that your admit card will show various details. You will need to carry the 2019 hall ticket to the exam hall. Your admit card will show various details, here are the details that you will find on your 2019 RRB admit card:
- Name of the candidate,
- Name of the exam,
- Details about the exam center,
- The address for the exam center,
- Registration number of the candidate,

RRB Recruitment Selection Process
The selection process of the RRB recruitment will be held after the release of the entrance exam. Furthermore, if you are looking the details about the recruitment of RRB, then here is all that you need to know about the recruitment process:
- The recruitment process will only begin once the results and the merit list is released by the RRB. However, it must be remembered that RRB results are released as per the RRB regions. A candidate will be able to check the results as per the regions alone.
- Once the results are released, one will be able to find the details of the result online on the official channel.
- A candidate should log in with the correct Login and password to find the correct results.
- Apart from this, once the merit list is released, the chosen candidates will be sent a notification about the next steps.
- Once the merit list is released, the notification for a personal interview and medical fitness tests.
- The selected candidate will be judged on their physical fitness as well as on personal skills.
- A candidate will be selected on the basis of the scores obtained on the test and on the results of PI as well as on the results of the medical test results.
All the selected candidates will find the notification for further steps via registered means alone. Additionally, only those who pass the RRB selection process will be hired for the desires or applied positions.
Documents to be carried along with the RRB Admit Card
Apart from carrying the hall ticket to the exam hall, the candidate will be required to carry some additional documents to the exam hall as well. Here is what a candidate needs to take along:
- A copy of the of the passport photograph uploaded on the application form (size 35mm X 45mm)
- Any valid ID proof, such as voter ID, passport or driver’s license.
Apart from this, a candidate should read the instructions on the admit card carefully before appearing for the exam and should make sure that they are carrying the necessary materials for the exam. Furthermore, the candidate must avoid bringing any material to the exam hall that is barred by the board or mentioned on the admit card.
RRB JE Books for exam preparation
The RRB exams are held as two different exams, which are:
- CBT 1
- CBT 2
CBT 1 is held for 90 minutes, and CBT2 is held for 120 minutes. Both of the exams have a different number of questions, which is normalized later on to find appropriate results for the candidates. Additionally, each correct answer on the test is awarded 1 mark, and each incorrect answer on the test leads to deduction of marks (â…“).
