NEET 2019 Admit Card

The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test, famously known as NEET Entrance exam, is a nationwide entrance exam for students who want to pursue a career in the fields of medicine and dentistry. Students can apply for Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses as well. NEET is a nationwide entrance exam conducted by the NTA i.e. the National Test Agency. Around 15 lakh students apply for this exam while only 90000 (approx.) seats are available. The three-hour long exam is conducted in 11 different languages and tests the students in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany + Zoology).

The Admit Card plays a major role in order to give the entrance exam since it carries all the important information about the student. The NEET 2019 Admit Card is issued by the National Test Agency and it will be issued in 15th April, 2019 and it will be released a week before the exam. It will be available on the site and the student will be required to download and print it and take it with them to the examination hall as it is the most important document to carry along with you for the exam. This admit card will be available on the official website of NEET and all the student has to do is register online.

How to Download NEET 2019 Admit Card 

  • The student will have to go on the official website of NEET, i.e.
  • Once you are on the website, click on the link “NEET 2019 Admit Card”, which will take you to a page.
  • On this page, the student is asked to fill their details and then click Submit.
  • This will guide you to your Admit Card.
  • You will have to download and save it from there on.
  • Print out the Admit Card and carry it with you on the days of the exam.

The Admit Card plays a very important role in order for you to give your exam. Without an admit card or a hall ticket, you won’t be allowed to enter the examination hall. Following are the details that are printed on the NEET Admit Card -

  • Student’s Address
  • Gender
  • Category
  • Subcategory
  • Signature of the student
  • Signature of the Parent
  • IP Address
  • Photograph of the student

If any of these are missing on your admit card, then you must get it checked with the Central Board of Secondary Education by calling them at their office or checking on the website i.e. to see if they have put out any notice regarding the issues with admits cards.

Documents Required with NEET Admit Card

The NEET exam centres are very particular about what you carry and what you do not carry along with you. You must not break any of the rules so that you are allowed to give the test. Following are the documents you must carry and things that you should not carry.

Documents to carry along with you –

  • Three Passport size photographs of the student
  • The Admit Card
  • A post card size photograph that has to be affixed in the proforma space in the admit card. This photo has to be the same as the one in the Application Form.

It is ideal if you just carry your Admit card along with the photos.

Important Instructions for  Students Appearing for NEET Exam

If you are applying for NEET exam, then you must follow these instructions otherwise you won’t be allowed to appear for the exam. An elaborate version of this can be found in the Information Bulletin for National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test which is available online at official website 

The student/candidate is not allowed to carry a mobile phone or any other communication device in the examination centre.

  • The student is supposed to wear half sleeved clothes which are light in colour and do not have big buttons, badges, flowers, etc. on them along with a pair of jeans or trousers.
  • The student isn’t allowed to wear shoes; only slippers and sandals are allowed.
  • Jewellery like rings, nose pins, necklaces, earrings, etc. aren’t supposed to be worn.
  • If the instructions aren’t followed, then the student can be banned from giving the future NEET exam too.
  • There are slots allocated to every individual and the student is supposed to enter only during that particular time in order to avoid the rush. A and B are the two entry slots, the entry timings are 7:30 am to 8:30 am and 8:30 and to 9:30 am, respectively.
  • You won't be allowed inside the examination centre if you fail to come in by 9:30 am.
  • Check the examination centre once in advance to your exam so that you know the location and distance of the examination hall from your house. Because on the day of the exam you must be on time otherwise you won't be allowed inside.
  • You are only supposed to carry your admit card and passport size photos in the examination room.
  • The student will be given a black or blue point pen at the centre.
  • Check the Test Booklet once if it has the Test Booklet Code and OMR sheets. Do not remove any pages from the Test Booklet.
  • You can't use the washroom in the last 30 minutes.
  • You cannot leave the examination hall while the test is going on.
  • Leave only once you hand in your OMR sheets.
  • Save the admit card till you are allocated with a College, wait till the results are declared.
