MPSC Exam Pattern 2019 for State Services Exam

For MPSC Exam Syllabus, one needs to know about the new MPSC Exam Pattern. Before appearing in examination candidates should have clear about MPSC New Paper Structure for Prelims/Main Exam, its marking scheme in details, duration etc. To get recruited through Maharashtra Public Service Commission, candidates need to clear the three most essential sections which are as follows:

  • MPSC Preliminary Exam
  • MPSC Main Exam
  • Interview

MPSC Prelims 2019 Exam Pattern

  • Preliminary Exam consists of two papers that are Paper 1 and Paper 2
  • The duration of both the paper will be 2 hours
  • Both the paper contains 400 marks each paper carries 200 marks and it is of Objective
  • There is a negative marking

MPSC Mains 2019 Exam Pattern

  • GS Paper 1, GS Paper 2, GS Paper 3 and GS Paper 4 are of the Objective type and it contains 150 Marks for each Paper
  • Compulsory Marathi and Compulsory English are of the descriptive type which contains 100 Marks for each Paper
  • Total marks for both the papers are 800 Marks
  • There is negative marking
