1. How can I cover the IIT JEE exam syllabus?

When you prepare for the IIT JEE 2019 exam, here are some things you need to keep in mind:

  1. Make sure that you have read and understood the syllabus in a comprehensive manner.
  2. Remember the marking scheme and the weightage of various topics before you start  your preparations.
  3. You should make a schedule and stick to it. Be sure to finish all of your syllabus before the exam date arrives.
  4. Plan a revision before your exam. At least two rounds of revisions should be made before appearing for the exam.
  5. Mock tests are very important while preparing for IIT JEE Main. When you start your revision, make sure that you take at least one mock test per day.
  6. Don’t waste your time when you are studying. Rest properly and do not overwork yourself.

2. Can the syllabus be changed without notification?

If there are any changes made to the syllabus, you will need to check the official website for information. However, most of the changes in the syllabus are updated long before the exam takes place.

3. What is JEE Main slot booking?

This feature, JEE slot booking is available only for those who fill the form online. The feature allows the candidate to choose the time and date for the exam. The feature will work on a first-come, first-serve basis.

4. Will I be charged when I pay the exam form fee?

Yes, there are charges that you will have to bear. The extra charges applicable when you pay for your exam form are bank handling fees., and the break-up for the same is as given below:

    • 1.20% of the examination form fee will be charged when payments are made through credit cards.
    • 0.75% of the examination form fee will be charged when payments are made through debit cards.
    • 1.50% of the examination form fee will be charged when payments are made through PayTm.
    • INR 20 will be charged when the payment is made through SBI cards.
