CSIR UGC NET 2020 - June Session

CSIR UGC NET 2020 - National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the application form of CSIR UGC NET for June session on March 16, 2020, in online mode. Eligible candidates can fill up the CSIR UGC NET 2020 application form till April 15 from the official website. Candidates who have completed their M.Sc or equivalent degree with at least 55 percent marks can apply for CSIR UGC NET 2020. The entrance is scheduled to be held on June 21, 2020, in online mode. The admit card for CSIR UGC NET will be released on May 15 for those candidates who have successfully submitted the application form.

CSIR UGC NET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

CSIR UGC NET 2020 - Age

  • Candidates applying for JRF must be 28 years of age whereas there is no age limit for candidates applying for Lectureship
  • Also, candidates belonging to reserved category will be given upper age relaxation as per the government’s norm

CSIR UGC NET - Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must have a Master's degree with 55 percent marks for General and OBC candidates whereas SC/ST and PWD candidates will have to secure 50 percent marks

CSIR UGC NET Admit Card 2020

National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the CSIR UGC NET June session admit card on May 15, 2020 in online mode. Candidates can download the admit card of CSIR UGC NET by using their login credentials - application number and date of birth. Only those candidates who have submitted the application form successfully will be issued the CSIR UGC NET admit card. After downloading the admit card, candidates must check all the details mentioned on the admit card of CSIR UGC NET. In case of discrepancies, candidates must contact the examination conducting authority and get the errors rectified.

Along with the CSIR UGC NET admit card, candidates will also have to carry any one photo identity card.

CSIR UGC NET 2020 Exam Pattern

 

NTA releases the exam pattern of CSIR UGC NET for all the aspiring candidates. By going through the CSIR UGC NET exam pattern, candidates will be able to know the different sections from where the expected questions will be asked, duration, marking schemes, total number of questions, etc. As per the exam pattern of CSIR UGC NET, the exam will be held for one paper containing multiple-choice questions. There will be a total of 200 marks questions from five subjects - Life Sciences, Physical Science, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Chemical Sciences and Mathematical Sciences.

The exam conducting body releases the cutoff of CSIR UGC NET after the declaration of result. CSIR UGC NET cut off is the minimum marks that must be secured by the candidates in order to qualify in the examination. CSIR UGC NET cut off is prepared as per the category of the candidates.
