CBSE UGC NET Admit Card
The CBSE UGC NET is conducted to determine the eligibility of the candidates for Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Assistant Professor in Indian Universities as well as Colleges. The examination is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education and the authority releases an official notification providing details about the exam and the release of the admit card.
Date Of Release
The admit card is released by the official authority one week before the examination. The candidates will be able to fill the current year online application form from 1st August to 30th August 2017. The expected date of release of the admit card is 30th October and the date of examination is 5th November 2017. Details for the current year examination are as mentioned below:

Steps To Download The Admit Card From The Official WebsiteIn order to download the UGC NET admit card, a candidate has to follow the below mentioned steps:

- Candidates need to enter the details required
- Enter application number and password.
- Download and print the admit card
Why is it necessary to download the admit card?
The examination will be held on 5th November 2017 and the candidates need to show their admit card along with a photo identity proof in order to enter the examination center. If a candidate is not carrying The UGC NET Admit Card, he will not be permitted inside the examination hall. Hence, it is mandatory for every aspirant to download the admit card and carry it to the exam center. The examination conducting authority does not send any hard copy of the admit card, the candidates are required to download it online.

In order to download the UGC NET admit card, a candidate is required to provide the essential details. First, the candidate will have to provide the login credentials when logging in on the official webpage. Further, the candidates will be asked for their application number, password and the date of birth in order to get their admit card.
What to do when you re not able to download the admit cardIf the candidate is facing any trouble while downloading the UGC NET admit card, you can follow the below mentioned steps:
In case of many candidates downloading the admit card, there could be a difficulty in loading the page. In such a situation, website faces heavy load issues and takes longer hence, refresh the page and enter your log in details again.

Steps to recover the password
The candidate will be unable to login if the password entered is incorrect. Hence, follow the below mentioned guide to help retrieve the password.

- Select one of the options from I forgot my Password or I forgot my application number .
If you select I forgot my Password , you will have to choose one from the three options given below:
- Use the security question and answer you chose at the time of filing the form.
- Use the verification code sent to you via SMS on your mobile number
- Use a reset link sent via Email on your registered Email address.
If you wish to retrieve the password using the security question and answer, you need to enter your application number, choose the security question and provide the security answer with the security PIN provided on the page.
If you select the second option, to retrieve the password using a verification code sent to you via SMS on your mobile number, you need to enter the application number, date of birth and the security Pin provided on the page.
Lastly, if you choose the third option to retrieve the password using the resent link via email, you will be needed to provide the application number, date of birth and the security Pin.
If you have forgotten your application number, you need to select I forgot my application number and provide the personal details which include name, mother s name, father s name and date of birth. Through this, the candidate can easily retrieve the application number.
It is important to note that the candidate should have access to either the application number of the password in order to retrieve the other.

Once the candidates have downloaded the admit card, they need to take at least two prints of the same, in case one of them is misplaced. After taking a print out, the candidate needs to paste an identical photograph on the admit card which is the same as the one uploaded at the time of filing the application form.

Exam pattern/schemeThe examination will consist of three papers which will be organized in three separate sessions as shown below.

Paper 1will be answered in the first session. It will have 50 questions of 2 marks each and it will access the teaching and research aptitude of the candidate along with the reasoning ability, thinking and general awareness.
- Paper II will have 50 objective type questions of 2 marks each and it will be based on the subject chosen by the candidate.
- Paper III will consist of 75 multiple choice questions of 2 marks.
All the questions in Paper I and III will be compulsory and will cover the entire syllabus provided on the website.
