BPSC Result 2020 - 65th Bihar PSC Exam Results

BPSC Result 2020 - Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is likely to release the result of 65th preliminary combined competitive exam in the first week of March 2020. 65th BPSC result will be declared in the PDF format containing the roll numbers of the candidates who will be qualified for the BPSC CCE mains exam. 

BPSC announces the results in three different stages - Prelims, Mains and Interview. Post declaration of BPSC Prelims result, the exam conducting body will also release the BPSC cut off marks

BPSC Combined Examination (65th) for Prelims was conducted on October 15, 2019, from 12 am to 2 pm. For the year 2019, BPSC has released 434 vacancies for various posts such as Police Vice-Chancellor, Municipal Executive Officer, Block Panchayati Raj Officer and other Group A services.

In order to check Bihar Public Service Commission result, candidates will have to follow these steps:

  • Now, press Ctrl + F and find your roll number. 
  • Download and save the result for future reference.

BPSC Result 2020 - Scorecard

Along with the Bihar PSC Result, the exam conducting body will also release the scorecard in online mode. To check and download their scorecard, candidates will have to select the name of the exam and then enter the date of birth and roll number in the login window. Stages of BPSC Result 2020

On the basis of Bihar PSC result for prelims exam, candidates are selected for the next phase of the exam - Mains. The preliminary examination is conducted for a total of 150 marks and for each correct answer, candidates will be given one mark each. There is no negative marking for any wrong answers. 

How to calculate marks for the BPSC Prelims exam?

To calculate the marks of the prelims exam, candidates are required to follow this formula:
Total score out of 150 = Number of correct answer X One


BPSC Mains Result

Candidates will have to qualify the mains exam as it is qualifying in nature. Those who will score equal or more than the cutoff will have to appear Personality Test. The mains exam of BPSC consists of General Hindi, General Studies – I and II and Optional Paper. The General Hindi paper carries 100 marks while General Studies -I & II and Optional Paper is conducted for 300 marks each. Bihar PSC result of mains exam is declared based on the marks obtained by candidates in General Studies I, II and Optional papers. 


BPSC Final Result 

The final result of BPSC is prepared on the basis of the scores obtained in the mains exam and personality test. The total score for mains exam is calculated out of 1020 marks (900 of mains exam and 120 of Personality Test).
