BPSC Result 2019 - Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) announces the result of BPSC in different stages - Prelims, Mains and Interview. BPSC Combined Examination (65th) for Prelims was conducted on October 15, 2019, from 12 am to 2 pm. For the year 2019, BPSC has released 434 vacancies for various posts such as Police Vice-Chancellor, Municipal Executive Officer, Block Panchayati Raj Officer and other Group A services.

How to check BPSC Result 2019?

In order to check Bihar Public Service Commission result, candidates will have to follow these steps: 
  • Click on the link BPSC Result 2019 to be provided as and when released
  • The result pdf will open on your screen
  • Now, press Ctrl + F and find your roll number 
  • Download and save the result for future reference

BPSC Result 2019 - Scorecard

Along with the Bihar PSC Result, the exam conducting body will also release the scorecard in online mode. To check and download their scorecard, candidates will have to select the name of the exam and then enter the date of birth and roll number in the login window. The scorecard of BPSC will likely to have the following details:

Stages of BPSC Result 2019 

BPSC Prelims Result

On the basis of Bihar PSC result for prelims exam, candidates are selected for the next phase of exam - Mains. The preliminary examination is conducted for a total of 150 marks and for each correct answers, candidates will be given one mark each. There is no negative marking for any wrong answers. 

How to calculate marks for BPSC Prelims exam?

To calculate the marks of the prelims exam, candidates are required to follow this formula:
Total score out of 150 = Number of correct answer X One

BPSC Mains Result

Candidates will have to qualify the mains exam as it is qualifying in nature. Those who will score equal or more than the cutoff will have to appear Personality Test. The mains exam of BPSC consists of General Hindi, General Studies – I and II and Optional Paper. The General Hindi paper carries 100 marks while General Studies -I & II and Optional Paper is conducted for 300 marks each. Bihar PSC result of mains exam is declared based on the marks obtained by candidates in General Studies I, II and Optional papers. 

BPSC Final Result 

The final result of BPSC is prepared on the basis of the scores obtained in the mains exam and personality test. The total score for mains exam is calculated out of 1020 marks (900 of mains exam and 120 of Personality Test).

The answer key of BPSC contains the correct answers to all the questions asked in the exam. With the help of BPSC 2019 answer key, candidates can also calculate their probable score based on number of correct answers. In case of any discrepancy in the answer key of BPSC prelims exam, candidates can raise an objection as per the prescribed format and date by the exam conducting body. On the basis of the final answer key, BPSC result 2019 will be announced for prelims exam.

BPSC Cut off 2019 

The cut off of BPSC exam is released after the declaration of result. BPSC cut off is the minimum marks that the candidates are required to secure in order to qualify for the next stage.  The examination authority releases the cut off of BPSC based on the number of appeared candidates, difficulty level of the exam and total number of vacancy.
