Tina Dabi, a 22 year old girl from Delhi, is the IAS Topper 2016. Tina’s success is inspiring in many ways. She has been determined and consistently working hard towards the goal of clearing UPSC since her XI class. Along with her hard work and dint of determination, what is also remarkable is that she hails from a Dalit family. Tina Dabi cleared Civil Services Examination in her very first attempt and became the IAS Topper 2016. After the UPSC Result 2016, Tina Dabi will be the youngest IAS officer.
Jammu and Kashmir’s Athar Aamir ul Shafi Khan was ranked second in the UPSC Result 2016. Not satisfied with the 560 ranking in the 2014 exam conducted by the UPSC, he gave a shot at it again this year — cracked it. Khan was also selected into service at 22 years of age. Khan is a graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh.
Delhi’s Jasmeet Singh Sandhu is the third ranker in IAS Results 2016. The 28- year-old Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer is already working as assistant commissioner. Unlike IAS Topper 2016, Tina Dabi, Sandhu got lucky in his fourth attempt.
